Tashie George is in the business of finding solutions. The Liberian-born, New York-raised, Minnesota resident has created change in each of her communities through IFRI LLC and IFRI-TRYV. Manbo ginger beer is a powdered beverage that is fermented into its alcoholic form. The name is an homage to her parents’ tribes; her father’s, the Mandingo (Man) of Guinea, and her mother’s, the Grebo (Bo) of Liberia. The connection of the map of Guinea and the map of Liberia represent the make-up of who she is and her parents connecting together, giving her the vision to see further.
IFRI is the sole distributor and licensed wholesaler of the Manbo Ginger Beer, all raw materials are produced in South Africa and co-packed locally in Minnesota. This unique beverage is available in alcoholic, nonalcoholic and THC variations.
